Tucked away in northeastern Mexico, Nuevo León boasts two amazing cities: Monterrey and Atl. San Luis. Monterrey’s huge, the capital. Atl. San Luis? Smaller, but oh so charming! It’s got this amazing mix of nature, history, and culture. I’m telling ya, it’s a hidden gem!
Monterrey: Industry AND Culture! Crazy busy, this place. Over a million people! It’s a non-stop city, a real humdinger. Manufacturing’s huge there. But hey, they know how to have fun too!
Parque Fundidora’s awesome! Used to be a steel mill, now it’s a park. Cerro del Obispado? Amazing city views! Perfect for a picnic. The MAC museum is pretty cool too. Lots of modern art. I loved it!
Atl. San Luis: A total escape! Around 120,000 people live there. It’s peaceful. A real breath of fresh air. Seriously, you need to check it out.
Parque Ecológico Atl. San Luis is gorgeous. Hiking trails, wildlife… The Iglesia de San Luis is stunning. Seriously beautiful architecture. And the market? So much local stuff! I bought some amazing souvenirs.
Monterrey got some awards, apparently. Expansión magazine called it one of Mexico’s most livable cities. Tourism’s booming in Nuevo León. Good for them!
